Corn Dogs with Rainbow Pancake baking mix
The corn dog is a dish that is very popular in many countries in Europe, Asia and America, but is not available everywhere for a long time. With the following recipe you can easily prepare the popular corn dogs at home with the help of our Rainbow Pancake mix.
Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 cup Rainbow Pancake baking mix (I used Sakura)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup oil
- 6 sausages (hot dog sausages)
Preparation:
In a small bowl, first whisk together the milk, eggs and oil. Then add the liquid ingredients to a larger bowl with the Rainbow 🌈 Pancakes mixture and some salt and whisk until a smooth batter is formed, which should not be too thin.
Heat oil in a deep fryer (or a pot) to 180 degrees.
Insert a wooden stick (for example, shish kebab skewers) in each sausage and turn them in the batter, then deep-fry the corn dogs for three to five minutes until golden brown.
